Next-Genetics is a limited-time escape room built in collaboration with the fine fellows at Hobbs Grove for this year’s haunt season. It’s a fast-paced horror-themed escape game perfect for families and friends who already love the thrills that the Grove provides. 

Unlike traditional escape rooms, you’ll only get a few minutes in each chamber before being forced to move on. There are no hints, so bring your sharpest minds!

What's the minimum number of players?

The minimum number of players is 1. While it would be a challenge to do by oneself, it is entirely possible.

What's the maximum number of player?

The maximum number of players is 6.

What's the recommended number of players?

Based on the number of puzzles in the room and the general challenge, groups of 3-5 have the best ratio of number of puzzles to difficulty.

Groups of 2 can beat the game under time if they have good reading comprehension and communication.

Are there special game mechanics?

Trial Chambers: Inspired by Portal, players will be inside trial chambers for a limited before being forced to progress.

If players solve the puzzles in time they have an opportunity to solve an overarching puzzle at the end, this will be quite the challenge!

No hints will be provided within the game. The challenge is much like our other games, so players will feel at home playing this game.

There are a total of 8 puzzles and steps to escape.
